Had to run up to Tinker AFB and am shocked at the number of responses on this thread when I just came back on! And such a positive thread!
Thought the speech was outstanding and everyone I talked to in one of the squadrons said the same thing!
I've been watching the President this week; through the 60 Minutes piece and onto his appearances 9/11 and speech to the UN.
The most startling impression I'm left with is how "real" he is. He's out there talking from the heart, not politicing, posing for the cameras or wrapping himself up in his own rhetoric. He's pretty much a WYSIWYG President.
How refreshing.
