Yes, that was about the best Bush interview I've ever seen. He looked rock solid through the whole thing.

Did you notice his demeanor when Scott mentioned Iraq? Those eyes got that glinty look. He would not discuss - "this administration's position has not changed, we want a regime change". (paraphrased).
I got the distinct impression that this man will not be diverted - this regime is going to change one way or another.

CBS pulled a royal flush last night. The Bush and NYFD documentaries were magnificently produced and reported.
It's amazing how little things can really move you, how they can serve as a microcosm of a larger sadness and truth. I was really hit by that photo they showed of the President posing with a group of 15 or so New York city firemen who were assigned as always to oversee the landing of the President's helicopter during his visit to New York earlier in 2001. 5 of those smiling, young firemen died in service and duty on 9/11. Five.

"Yes, that was about the best Bush interview I've ever seen. He looked rock solid through the whole thing"If you're talking about the 60 Minutes II interview, the transcript on the WH web site doesn't appear to be the right one.
