Letterman followed up when the commercial was over: "Paul, how stupid did he make me look?" Paul: "He knows his stuff". So in case you didn't believe the media over the last 8 years Clinton is SMART as opposed to all Republican presidents and candidates over the last 100 years which were ALL stupid. Now -- Clinton who wants Saudia Arabia to put solar panels around the whole equator and everywhere else the climate permits because they could then make money off of energy and still sell their oil... is SMART. Uh-huh..

Sorry.....LOL.
James Woods, the actor. He has a copy of today's LA Times editorial that he drug out and READ about "feeling today"........he said he had it in case he ever ran into the guy who wrote it so he could smack the crap out of them.
Woods was on a cross country flight and actually observed some of the REAL hijackers scoping out the planes a month or so before 9-11; He contacted the airlines and the FBI.
The morning after 9-11, at 7 a.m. pacific time, he got a call from the FBI, asking if he was the James Woods who reported the possible sketchy people on the flight, he said yes, they said, we want to meet you, he said I'll come right down, they said, "Just open the front door, we're outside your house." It scared the crap out of him.

Thanks, I have never heard of Woods. If Hollywood had to rely on my patronage, the place would be a ghosttown.

To: Torie; All
Who is Woods by the way? James Woods, the movie actor. He's the one also who just one week before 9/11/01 was flying on the Boston flight and reported to the FBI some strange acting Arabic men. He also mentioned to the stewardess that he thought they might be terrorists.
And to everybody on this thread: Outstanding thread. I've been laughing and feeling your pain out here on the left coast. It's been a blast. THANK YOU ALL!

When is the rerun? I want to see the whole thing......he PITCHED A FIT about the LA Times! Here in CT, the Tonight Show is rerun at 2:05-3:05AM. However, I'm pretty sure tonight's (9/11/02) guests will actually appear either tomorrow night or the night after in that 2:05AM time slot. In other words, the Tonight Show rerun at 2:05AM this morning will have Jay's guests from last night, or the night before.

He is so lame, MR. Know it all!You got that right.
He is such idiot. Can you you imagine if he made the same remarks on O'Reilly's show, or Meet The Press? Even a big RAT cheerleader like Russert would have brutalized him.
I love the way Bubba reduced the problem with Iraq to ONLY chem and bio weapons, completely failing to mentions nukes. Hey brainiac, if we look the other way for a few more years that will solve the problem, right? What a delusional menace to society.

I LOVE Ben Stein!

He's one of the few I like; and he hates the Clintons more than I do. He called them TRASH on Entertainment Tonight.

the most telling fact , that exhibits bubba's irrelevancy is, that on a day in which every community in the USA had some type of observance , Bubba has to call in an old Letterman favor just to be seen. Ding ding ding ding.......you win! Move to the head of the class!

At least not yet, AnnO ... My most fervent prayers concern the Clintons and all their minions ... added to that is a West Virginia admonition ... there's nothing here that age won't cure.
