I just watched this and thought that it was very well done. The President looked great and was inspiring. I get angry with him from time to time because of the way he's let the left get by him...but all in all he's a helluva guy and I'm damned glad he's our President.

Great post...thanks...Is there someplace from which to order a copy of this program? thx
To: Utah Girl
Thank you.
I watched the whole thing. Considering Pelley it was very well done. Actually, they were fair to the President.
What a noble and honorable man to have lead us.
To: Utah Girl
Thanks for the ping! I'm still waiting for it to be shown here.

I am still at work, but I had the foresight to put a tape in my VCR and record it. I can't wait to get home and watch.

I hopw you left it recording to get the President's speech from Ellis Island. Following that is the documentary made by the two french brothers. It is very moving.

I agree with you 100%. It was a very positive piece. I also get mad sometimes when I don't think he is moving fast enough on the war but bottom line, I trust him. He is a sincere man and he is not going to forget what happened. I can't think of anyone I would rather have there right now.

This is a keeper.
Thank UG for the ping.

Yes, I did leave the tape recording until the late news comes on here. I was hoping there would be some other worthwhile documentaries on. Thanks!

I haven't watched this yet, I have it on tape. I want to thank you for posting this. It is one of the best articles I read today..... And I want to emphasize this...
The staff wanted to add a declaration of war but Mr. Bush didnt think the American people wanted to hear it that night and he was emphatic about that.
Mr. President! You really under-estimate the will of the American People. I really wish that you did add a declaration of war... and I still hope you do now.
It is Justified!

Presidents can't declare war (I think).

Presidents can't declare war (I think). You are right. But they can, sure as hell, ask for a declaration... and get it!

I should add that whenever a President has asked for one, he has gotten a Declaration of War. This should be no exception..... As long as Congress has a pair.....

I am so upset because I missed being able to tape the documentary made by those French brothers (on CBS) the first time they showed it (6 months ago - I think) - and then tonight - I was able to tape it - but my silly VCR stopped somehow - and I missed being able to tape the last 15 minutes of it!!!
UGGGH - does anyone have a copy of it I I could purchase from them? PLEASE - Pretty PLEASE?
