So what. That is just the start. There are one hell of a lot of towelheads still to be rendered unto dust....radioactive dust.

I personally would like to think he got it in single combat from a 19 year old Lance Corporal from Topeka, Kansas, who stuck his grandaddy's heirloom K-bar between between the goat humper's ribs. I guess that's just the romantic in me.LOL ! ! That's a damn good one !

I agree - but it was well known that Usama suffered from severe kidney failure. If the bombs didn't get him, the kidney issue surely finished the job.

4. President has squinty-eyed Texas Ranger look this morning. This will always be one of my favorite Bush trademarks that you pointed out last September.....

but the REASON is that Iraq is getting frantic trying to avert an invasion. They want us to think we have won already. I thought of this as well. Hoping to save Saddam's sorry butt.

some smart American teenager hacked the site and planted the info ;o)
My thought too...only I'm guessing it was some smart CIA agent...
Web site: "Usama's dead, run for your lives!!"
Usama: "No, I'm no-o-....."

They even do it at their weddings--sometimes killing the guests by mistake. They even do it in the middle of a war zone where it can cause somebody else to shoot at them -- a bunch of them got killed and maimed doing that in Afghanistan a few months back.

Here's the text from that Jihad.Net site....
A Moment of Silence
A lot of things changed for America and the world on September 11, 2001. We, officially, as the net.group known as the Jihad to Destroy Barney the Dinosaur, would like to express our sorrow to those who have lost family and/or friends in the WTC/Pentagon planeings, and to those of us who, as Americans, lost our innocence about our safety on that fateful Tuesday morning.
The Jihad is primarily made up of Americans, who are reeling from this tragedy ourselves. Those of us who are not Americans have expressed their own profound regrets for what has happened in this country. We do not condone those who would use real-life violence to achieve their goals, and strongly condemn what happened this week. The Jihad as we have it is purely a fictional concept.
We would also like to support the Arab-American community. The violence committed against them in the assumption that all Arabs are terrorists is wrong. Americans who are angry at the events of this week should remember that it was because we were Americans that this attack happened to us, and to paint all Arabs with the terrorist brush is to be no better than the people who committed the atrocities Tuesday morning.
May we find comfort and solace in the weeks and months to come, and may we be firm but just in our pursuit of the people who committed these atrocities. A moment of silence for those who died, please, and never forget.

It would be like that for CBS to announce this; my thoughts are they are doing it to help in the justification that removing Saddam (Dan Rather surrogate father) is not necessary.

OPH.........wonder if CBS, by reporting this, realizes they COULD have just taken away one the Dems' arguments. How many times over the last couple of weeks have we heard, we need to finish up the job in Afghanistan, and find UBL before moving our focus to Iraq.

What if this web site is actually run by the CIA and this is Bush's way of announcing OBL's death on 9/11 without the Dems screaming "Politics!" (like what X42 would have done.)
Nutty? maybe but I find the timing curious from the other side.

I seem to remember this being reported as some sort of signal... anyone else remember that?

Has it occurred to anyone else that perhaps we killed him and kept it secret? It would be a smart move. It would avoid any retribution that loyal followers, overcome by emotion, would commit. Hmmm... if so, leaking increasingly reliable hints, but without any one definitive announcement, would be just the thing to pre-empt a sudden admission by the goblins that Osama bin Dead. (Ironically, this is just the strategy Clowntoon used to defuse his various crimes and scandals.)
The past year of speculation, no-show "new tapes", etc. seems to have had just that effect. I suspect that even his own followers don't know whether to believe this story is the real deal.

Looks like we got him. I'll have to celebrate tonight.
Not bad - it tooks us longer to get the creep who planned Pearl Harbor. Now, the questions that have to be asked are: Who is this war's Tom Lanphier? Does he get the billion dollars that the businessmen Lozzi was flacking for promised?
