Of course I didn't vote for X42. nor have I ever voted for a fringe candidate. I have more common sense, intelligence, and political understanding , which wouldn't allow me to do such a stupid things, dear. Unlike you, I'm no political naif. :-)

Pres. Reagan was an actor, Clinton would like to be one. I don't see Pres. Bush that way personally. Yes, he likes to be the center of attention but he also appears to be very sincere and it is difficult to fake that consistently. Most of us do have a sense of humor about him and his difficulties on occasion with spontaneous responses. I haven't seen any worship of him, only respect. And Jolly enjoys the "rancor" or he would have simply ignored all the responses.

Several years ago, the fringers and the fanatic ideolgues , for the most part, kept their thoughts / positions, to themselves.

If you think that it was " nicer " ,less rancorous, 4 years ago, then you've been listening to the wrong people / made up your mind, without knowing facts. The flame wars were there then, and they're here now.

We have ALWAYS taken politicians " seriously " ; their action have consiquences. Bush is NOT like X42; in any way, other than both were elected president. President Bush, unlike X42, is NOT a stay up all nighter shmoozer, he doesn't seek out adoration , and he apparently loves his wife, whom he doesn't cheat on. I don't idolize him, I'm not some drooling sycophant, who agrees with his every word and action ; so don't even attempt to label me with that bizzare garbage.
