Katherine Harris seems set to storm the GOP primary in the Sarasota area. I find it hard to believe some liberal judge is going to go against Sarasota voters wishes and kick her off the general election ballot. But Florida's a weird place and you never know. I guess we'll just have to wait to see if Katherine makes it to Congress come November.

I strongly suspect that the judge will rule in favor of Katharine, especially since the Governor and the Attorney General of Florida, Bob Butterworth, backed her up.

The only glimmer of hope is that if they kicked her off, Butterworth would suffer.

Maybe if she is kicked off the ballot she can do a Sports Illustrated pictorial on a Sarasota beach! But I still hope she wins.

Don't worry about it. W is going to come down to our district to campaign for her from what I've heard. The Demorats don't have the money or the base once you get outside of St. Armand's Circle.

Not a comment on the merits of the case, but I would never treat a lib as anything other than an unstable, hissing, poisonous snake.
