These socialist crooks just can't stop rigging elections, the rat treachery is on display for the entire country to see, and this time they can't blame Bush or the GOP.
Elections supervisors in Dade, Broward and Palm Beach ought to be indicted and jailed for this unAmerican nonsense.
They should be legally required to report election results in a timely fashion.
Broward was the last county to start reporting, didn't report a single result until 1:30 A.M. last night.
It certainly seems like they are up to the same old game of waiting to find out how many votes they need to come up with and then trying to steal the election for their canidate.

11K I suspect is about where it will end up. Janet ran slightly behind my projection of 6K down. But who knows? In part it depends on whether those missing precincts in Miami Dade are part of this total are not, and if so, how many of them.

I think you are getting a bit paranoid. Broward had lots of election problems as did Dade. It was a mess in both counties.

The Broward supervisor of elections is an incompetent that needs to be suspended along with the other clowns in Dade and Palm Beach.
And contrary to my earlier post, the Democrats apparently CAN blame Bush for what happened, and have already started to do so.
A Bush failure to suspend the idiots responsible is a good indication that he doesn't really want to be Governor anymore.

He doesn't have the power to replace them.

It's now a full day. What are those Democratic county officials waiting for?
To: Torie
Your predictions were very sound, given that you originally made them when the lead was many tens of thousands.

Well, the first link below shows only an 11,000 vote margin for McBride with 99% of precincts reporting. I can't determine where their numbers are coming from, they are probably getting phoned in reports. The SOS site and the local county sites are the sources I'm using.
FloriDuh should be declared a third world country so Jimmy Carter can monitor the elections. But I don't think he would want any part of it. It will be interesting to see what happens.

He can suspend them or he can stand around and just accept the blame for what happened.
Florida Constitution Art IV,SECTION 7. Suspensions; filling office during suspensions.-- 1(a) By executive order stating the grounds and filed with the secretary of state, the governor may suspend from office any state officer not subject to impeachment, any officer of the militia not in the active service of the United States, or any county officer, for malfeasance, misfeasance, neglect of duty, drunkenness, incompetence, permanent inability to perform official duties, or commission of a felony, and may fill the office by appointment for the period of suspension. The suspended officer may at any time before removal be reinstated by the governor.
(b) The senate may, in proceedings prescribed by law, remove from office or reinstate the suspended official and for such purpose the senate may be convened in special session by its president or by a majority of its membership.
(c) By order of the governor any elected municipal officer indicted for crime may be suspended from office until acquitted and the office filled by appointment for the period of suspension, not to extend beyond the term, unless these powers are vested elsewhere by law or the municipal charter.

Then I stand corrected. However I still am skeptical about whether the definition of 'incompetence' has been reached. Don't remember much from Business Law, but seems like substantial performance was pretty sloppy, something like 90% would qualify.
But think it through. Say Jeb removes one or both, and then the local Dem org. pulls the same stunts of pollworker sickouts, lateness, etc. You know the media will be on the air those first few hours screaming how with all Jeb's changes, it still botched and actually worse this time. Screaming that all day, another chance for the media to electioneer.
Sorry for the poor grammer.
To: Diddle E. Squat
What you say is possible, but I wouldn't give these imbeciles a third chance to screw up the general election in November, this is the second straight election that they have botched.
