Interview shows an angry, intense Bush

CBS' Scott Pelley isn't the first person to observe that in a world of grays, President Bush sees mainly black and white. But Pelley says there are aspects about Bush's personality that might surprise some people during the president's only TV interview this Sept. 11 anniversary week -- on 60 Minutes II Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

I'd bet my house Bill Clinton watches EVERY SINGLE interview Bush gives; he couldn't NOT watch, he's so damn vain. He has to see "how he's doing compared to me."

I can't quite believe that President Bush is now being criticized for showing emotion, but, that's typical, it seems.

Ann Compton from ABC News was in the AF1 pool that day and flew off from Florida with Bush, et al.

She was on with Brian Williams last night; she did not seem to think it was a controversial move; in fact, she talked about somebody on the plane having a yellow legal pad with all the planes still in the air listed on it.

She said that as soon as all the planes were down, Bush said, "I'm going to the White House," and even when the SS protested, he still went.

She was VERY complimentary; when Williams tried to run this bogus attack on her about him not being in D.C., she wasn't having any of it.

I think we were the only two who watched BW last night, and I just happened upon it by chance(channel surfing)....I was pleasantly surprised with Ann Compton.
I thought for sure she'd take BW's bait and criticize Bush.

I'd like to see her do more interviews, myself!

But I especially like the way Brit Hume interviews. He's so obviously interested in the spiritual side of things, and asks very good questions.

I pray to the everliving G_d of Abraham, Issac and Moses that while our troops are fighting the savage hordes in the ME, the so-called "Black Muslims" (read:thugs with Koran and whacko Calypso Louie) start to burn the cities. That will be excuse enough to unleash the domestic dogs of war. It will be a pleasure to eliminate any domestic threats.
