Margaret Carlson: Hillary Stabbed Cuomo in the Back for Presidency
NewsMax was the first to report that Hillary Clinton was indeed running for the President.
Now, the idea of a Hillary Clinton candidacy has moved from laughter to accepted reality.
This past weekend, Margaret Carlson, co-host of CNN’s Capital Gang, said on-air that there is no doubt that Hillary is running for the White House.
Carlson, also a TIME magazine columnist, is one of the most connected liberals in Washington.
During the CNN show, Carlson explained why Andrew Cuomo pulled out of the Democratic primary in New York, throwing the race to State Comptroller Carl McCall, an African American.
Carlson said that Hillary’s sudden and unusual endorsement of McCall made Cuomo’s race untenable.
Why did Hillary make the unusual move of making an endorsement when she had previously promised to remain neutral?
Carlson said bluntly, "Hillary's running for president. They [the Clintons] wanted the black vote, and the Clintons just undermined [Cuomo].”
Carlson said Hillary’s endorsement proves the Clintons will stop at nothing to get back into the White House.
She said the Hillary endorsement demonstrated that "the Clintons will stab you in the back.”
Carlson recalled that during the Monica scandal, "The Clintons got [Cuomo’s] support during impeachment. If one Cabinet secretary had gone off during the Monica thing, Clinton would have been in a lot of trouble. Andrew Cuomo stuck by him.”
Cuomo had served as Clinton’s cabinet secretary at HUD.
Carlson complained, "They should have at least, the very least, remained neutral.”
She said that she had lied that morning. She lied to editors about when she would have things done, to friends about how they looked. Taxes. And her resume. Heh, heh.
Lying's not a big thing to us girls. But stabbing in the back is different from lying. In fact, among us girls, it's usually the opposite.

I say that virtually anyone ever associated with Clinton, in a supportive way, has only himself to blame for eventual consequences.

The worst possible thing for her is to be seen as a loser.
If people begin to realize that she is not the political miracle worker and king-maker she pretends to be, she will become a political irrelevancy almost instantly. Her enemies will come after her with a vengence, and her friends will cut her loose in a heart-beat. The only reason anybody works with Hilllary! at all is that they all think that she will be President some day, and they fear incurring her wrath. Once it becomes obvious that she has gone as high as she will go, the sharks in the water will begin to feed, and she will learn that she has no true friends to save her.
Fortunately, people are beginning to see that Hillary! has the smell of a loser. Mark Green, Andrew Cuomo, and Janet Reno (after today) can all attest to that. Including Reich, the Clintonistas are 0-4 since 1/21/01. Their political impotence is becoming obvious to all.

You're right, and impeccable reasoning...is Margaret up to something, or is this a case for "duh" after the fact for listening to a single word she says?!
'Course I'm glad she said it, anyway, but her "Clinton/Cuomo theory" doesn't hold water...have you any highly speculative theory of your own on what is going on in N.Y.? (I'd love to know, and won't hold you to it or place any bets, LOL!)
I disagree...the HildaBeast has an absolutely awful record (i.e. HillaryCare) and horrific people skills. Sounds like to know her is to loathe her...she ain't got none of that Slick Willie charm in her arsenal. She's simply Bubba's Wife, and it was enuff to fool NooYawkers, but it won't fly in Peoria.
