Well! It appears that St. Louis has migrated southeast.

Are the Republican and Democrat primaries being held in the same voting locations/machines or different ones? Interesting to see what develops out of this mess.....

How come it is always Miami-Dade and Broward having the voting problems? Everyone else seems competent enough to have an election.

It takes time to bus those voters from precinct to precinct.

Gives new meaning to "busing" doesn't it?

Gore's lawyers are boarding the planes as I type this.

I wonder how Buchanan is doing in the vote count?

I wonder if the tanks are massing at the polling places yet...?

Oh, wait, that's right. She's not AG any more.

Let her have her extra hours. This is the primary. It will only help her over the other guy, and she's by far the easier candidate for Bush to beat.

I expect the same...however, here in Cleveburg we have certain precincts that are reliably 98% Democrat, and of course, the poll-workers there are too...what do you suppose the "make-up" of the problem precincts in Florida is?!

There's going to be another huge rant and whine over this, and somehow Jeb will be blamed, I just know it...it's just ludicrous, if not something more sinister (like an intentional scheme - poll workers not showing up?! - to compromise the election again)!

Why did Florida go to a touch screen system? I suppose its only a small percentage of people who are having problems--probably the same people who couldn't figure out the butterfly ballots!

Here in Minnesota you have a ballot, you have a pen, you take the pen a fill in the circle next to a name, ballot goes into a vote machine counter, you get "I Vote Sticker" and leave.

Could this be a dress rehearsal for the main event?
Is this going to be an argument for statistical sampling to determine elections?

I hope to God you are referring to spitting up with laughter and not some --ahem-- other spontaneous eruption of excitement and pleasure. ;-)

If a voter can not "figure out" a ballot, they should either ask an elections official or concede to their stupidity and go home. If a voter can not understand a ballot because it is in English, learn to speak English. If a voter can not particpate due to hours the polling location is open, vote in advance by mail.

I just don't get it...
