And some people here will criticize those who criticize Bush no matter what he does. Bingo ! Why would any American with half a brain think that Bush and Co. will avert a tradgedy this time when he and the boys sat on their hands while 9/11 happened. Our embaseys are under threat every day. National monuments, those not already given to the UN as Bio-spheres are under threat every day ! Nothing has been done to secure our borders in the last year ... no one is safer flying today than last year on 9/11 ... Civil liberties are going down the toilet daily. The chance of being shot by a towelhead today is the same level as last week, as last month, as last year. We need bodies to justify an oil war..Get use to it People !

hasn't there been a trend of bin Laden surfacing and terrorist attacks occurring shortly thereafter?

They haven't dug up OBL's bones, just published old tapes of him. It could be used as a signal, and communications between terrorists have been on the increase lately according to reports.
