I would like to ask libertarians reading this post to state what justification for open borders exists especially in light of tomorrow's aniiversary.

I would ask you to state what justification you have for misleading people into thinking that totally open borders are what most libertarians advocate.

Have you stopped beating your wife yet?

Read the Libertarian platform:

"We therefore call for the elimination of all restrictions on immigration, the abolition of the Immigration and Naturalization Service and the Border Patrol, and a declaration of full amnesty for all people who have entered the country illegally."

The Libertarian Party candidate for Gov of California just assualted a radio host over opposition to open borders immigration. Libertarian Party literature regularly either dismisses concerns over the impact of high levels of immigration with gratuitous insults about racism. Libertarian oriented think tanks such as the CATO Institute regularly tout the positive value of largely unrestricted immigration to the economy/society and denounces proposals to control frontiers and immigrationas statist tyranny. Hence it is fair to ask those who support the Libertarian Party and it associated entities why they continue to support the open borders approach to immigration.
