[history]
The chairman of the National Republican Senatorial Committee is much more optimistic that the Republican Party will regain control of the Senate this year -- so much so that he now says he can afford to "take risks" in some longshot races.

Umm, Victory over Iraq, Permanent tax cuts, Economic Growth, Ban on partial birth abortion, confirmation of conservative judges at the appelate and supreme court levels. That ought to be a start.
I LOVE your list. I really do, but can we PLEASE stop this Tiptoe Through The Tax code Tinkering Tango weve been doing for years and add real, permanent tax REFORM to your list?
Huh? Huh? Pretty please with sugar on top!?

The Senate may bounce back to Republican control as early as November? This is great news! Either way, the Republicans are going to win back the Senate in this election and pick up several seats in the House as well only to permanently lose both houses of Congress in 2004 when the Bush signed Clinton-Daschle-Gephardt Democrap Congressional Majority Insurance Bill also known as Campaign Finance Reform kicks in. Bush really wasted a wonderful opportunity to save Republican control of Congress for a decade or more, but instead chose to sacrifice the Republican majority for petty short term political gain

You vastly overrate the significance of CFR, even if it surivives SCOTUS in toto, which is doubtful. JMO.

Lott will not step aside willingly. Nickles will challenge him for the Majority Leader job in November or December. Hopefully Nickles will win it. I really hope that piss ant pro-abortion candidate supporting, impeachment manager opposing Santorum doesn't nose his way into the leadership. I would rather get a real conservative like Sen. John Kyl into the Assistant Majority leader position. Better yet, Kyl could replace Lott himself.

This minor election reform bill has absolutely NOTHING to do with the Democrap CFR bill Bush signed in February. Mark my words the Democraps will win both houses in 2004 thanks to Bush's signing of the CFR bill and unsure in a new decades long Democrap congressional majority that will be damn near impossible for Republicans to overturn.

Hey, don't just read these things, post them!
But you are wrong about the meaning of this article, it has nothing to do with CFR, but with what was supposed to be it's 'companion bill', which was supposed to A: Stop campaign fraud (for the GOP) and B: Make sure people aren't stopped from voting (for the Dems).

Jeane Carnahan in Missouri where Ashcroft allowed a dead man to unseat him without challenging the unconstitutional result. Talent is running seven points ahead in the latest poll...

Thousands of Democratic party operatives have been called to South Dakota to stop any loss of a Democratic seat there. What are South Dakota and neighboring state anti-Democrats going to do about that? Sit and type?

You are so unwilling to admit that the GOP has outwitted both the Dems and you, that you look forward to the death of our country.

"Mark my words the Democraps will win both houses in 2004 thanks to Bush's signing of the CFR bill..."
How do you figure that since the bill doesn't even take effect until after the election and the Repubs have more money?

Your UT poll is way more current than the info I have, so GREAT! But, I have noticed that the national media is pushing for Kirk because of his 'charisma.' And his 'middle-of-the-roadism.' And his 'experience.' Living in the Coastal Bend, I've never heard his name uttered till recently.
Nobody here knows Cornyn's name....

Oh, I hope, I hope, I hope...
I want to see Bush's judicial appointees go through, I never want to see Daschle again, and I want us to be ready for war.

False. It takes effect the day after Election Day 2002 and will thus be in full effect for the entire Election 2004 campaign season,
To: rightwing2
okay the day after... But then we have two years for it to wind its way through the court system and when it gets to the USSC it will struck down...
