How 'bout halftime...I'm swamped just now but the Missuz is taking the kids to a B-day Party at 2:00 and I'll be able to catch my breath. Very interesting dichotomy between the two finalists, my FRiend, but both excellent examples of FReepers who respect the Power of this Forum to change minds and influence people, yet don't take themselves or other FReepers too durned seriously!! Yeah, we can change the World, but let's have some fun doing it!!
I must admit, I sometimes get "timesink" mixed up with "sinkspur", and you know what a nasty, li'l cuss he/she can be...so there's an automatic bias I must overcome. And of course, there will be those who feel my opinion has been bought for some well-written and not altogether inaccurate brown-nosing of one of the judges. And we must admit that dubyagee's "#6. I haven't yet developed 'unhappy FReeper symptom" and "#2. I don't think JimRob owes me anything..." epitomized the thread we successfully hijacked from extinction.
Still, when you get right down to it, timesink's "#7. The knowledge that FR has never been as good as it used to be since the day after it launched" displays a subtle brilliance too good to ignore.
