14 Heartland traitors, to match Cali's 13:

David Bonior – Michigan
John Conyers – Michigan
Sherrod Brown – Ohio
Stephanie Tubbs-Jones – Ohio
Marcy Kaptur – Ohio
Dennis Kucinich – Ohio
Julia Carson – Indiana *hanging my Hoosier head in shame*
William "Lacy" Clay – Missouri
Danny Davis – Illinois
Lane Evans – Illinois
Luis Gutierrez – Illinois
Jesse Jackson Jr. – Illinois
Bobby Rush – Illinois
Jan Schakowsky – Illinois

I believe that every one of them represents densely populated urban areas.

Bonior and Conyers are giveaways. As is Jackson from Illinois. But the Ohioans surprised me. I've always given the Buckeyes credit for more intelligence than that.

Notice there are none from Iowa, Nebraska, or South Dakota. However, with Harkin, Wellstone, and Daschle in the Senate, we can't claim complete exemption from the disgrace.

This is absolutely amazing. I counted just 7 from NY/NJ/Pa. and five of those are from NY. Illinois has more lefties that NY.

Congressman Lane Evans represents rural towns on the mississippi river in Western Illinois. He was nearly ousted from office in 1994 and 1998. (I think he won by 1.5% or something). His district is generally middle of the road--I don't know how this socialist keeps winning re-election.
