This story is old, If they dont know by now they never will. Could you imagine MTV of VH1 replaceing "boos" with "cheers" for a Republican Senator, if anything they would amplify the "boos"

I remember watching a satellite feed where some editor dubbed out Clinton's little laugh when he said, "I'm just trying to control my, hehe, sexual impulses." They knew he sounded sleazy, so they dubbed it out before my very eyes. And that was for news broadcasts.

I don't know about this being an old story. All I could find on the web about this was that VH-1 replaced the booing with "crowd noise". I looked it up after one Freeper mentioned the cheering substitution part. That post was the only place I saw it mentioned so I was waiting for verification before I mentioned it.

This story is old, If they dont know by now they never will. Hm. I'm a regular at /. as well as FR, and I hadn't heard this before.

Will never happen. If a Republican had been booed it
would be rerun constantly on every news channel and used in every commercial when a Democrat runs for anything.

This past weekend MTV's video awards had a scene where rap singer Eminem was booed. They cut it for subsequent broadcasts.

Apparently they feel the need to protect both the Hildbeast and racists.
