Senator "X" said the 1998 resolution would "send as clear a message as possible that we are going to force, one way or another, diplomatically or militarily, Iraq to comply with international law." And he vigorously defended President Clinton's inclination to use military force in Iraq.

Guess who said this 4 years ago?

Democrats for Regime Change

I was shocked about Nunn as well! Then I remembered that David Boren was one of the few DemocRATs to always vote with President GHW Bush!

Tom Daschle? I couldn't believe it when I read what all the RATs were saying! What a difference the change of President's makes -- a Republican in the White House and they automatically go back to being pro-Iraq -- don't know what else to call it!

Great article! I think I'm going to move to Oklahoma. You wouldn't want to trade a Nickles & an Inhofe for a Wellstone and a Dayton would you?

I didn't think so...

A declaration might be too confining as the OBL bunch seems to cross borders with ease(and maybe Saddam would try this too)...this way we can target as necessary.

"the Democrats have to either give Bush what he wants or risk getting anhilated at the polls! "

They will probably experience both... MOST of the nation blames our vulnerability to 9/11, at least a substantial portion of it on the "love the earth, hate all wars" crowd that serviced clinton's bent...

I expect that the slaughter on november five, politically will be worse than daschle's nightmares can forsee. The public sentiment will be sooo strong and stern, dems may never recover as a party...

Goodbye dem party. Hello, fractured derivitives thereof... greenies, anti war, anti capitalist, and socialist conservatives...
