Flag was first put up last year on 9/11 at approximately 12:30 after recovering from the initial shock, and has not been taken down since. It's still flying as beatifully now as it did that horrible day, and I will continue to fly it proudly.

Ours has not been taken down either.

You don't take it down at night? I hope you have lighting for it, then.

Same here, Peach.

Ours was flying until some *insert the curse words of your choice here* jerk stole it off the front of our house. They took the pole as well. We live in a decent middle income neighborhood, so I was rather shocked to discover it was missing.
Thinking of hot wiring the next one I put up, but then again a personal injury lawsuit would increase our already expensive homeowners insurance.
Sorry for the rant.
My kids will be wearing their "I love NY" t-shirts and American flag pins to school on the 11th. Even after a year, 9-11 is mentioned almost daily in our home. And I definitely think about it daily.
