I'd hafta check the rule book. But I'm pretty near certain that when the deer start shooting at ya...it's kinda ok if you nail 'em w/o a permit.
Question is, "how do ya know there shootin' at ya!? Is it a hiss or a zing?".

If this is true -- and I'm thinking that it ain't -- then this proves that Al-Queda is primarily made up of geeky Arab adolescents engaged in fantasy role-playing games.
Still, I'll keep my 'Homeland Defense Rifle' handy in case they do show up at my doorstep.

Good way to learn what it sounds like it to sit in a target pit and mark targets as shots are made from 600 yard line. The only other way to learn is something you won't enjoy at all.......trust me :o)
Stay Safe !...........good hunting !

In another scenario, an innocuous-looking terrorist knocks on the door of a residence, standing in view of the resident and answering questions through a closed door. When the resident opens the door, the terrorist immediately draws his weapon and fires, emptying his weapon into the victim. God, I had had a similar thought: There are so many quiet, peaceful neighborhoods in our cities, where a team of 4 or 6 could quietly drive up in the wee hours of the morning, and spread out and quietly break into the houses and kill. Then move on to the next house that looks like an easy mark. Eventually they would meet armed homeowners who were awakened and ready to respond, and then the terrorists would meet Allah. But by the time everyone in the city woke up that morning there would be terrible news, with the magnitude of the terror slowly unfolding as a couple dozen victims were eventually discovered.
Or they could go around torching several dozen houses in a neighborhood with incendiaries on timers. Etc.
A free, prosperous country like America is very vulnerable in the immediate sense, and we really do rely on the government's ability to respond to an atrocity after the fact with overwhelming force, in hopes that it will deter crime from happening in the first place. In the case of terrorists on a suicide mission that's just part of the script & not a deterrent, but in that case it's essential to destroy that which they value: Their countries, their religious talismans, their relatives, etc.
If it came to that, that is. (Yes I know, it already did last September.)

If they get the chance ... it will IMHO.
It is another area, in addition to the larger attacks, that I try and graphically point out in the Dragon's Fury Series
Particularly if and when any larger "nation-states" ally with them ... as I believe several already have.
Keep your powder dry and mind your knot.

LOL!
I will come up with an Idaho version this evening after work!
To: meadsjn
Alright ... no need for a single state version now that you created that.

And I suppose all of us gals will be standing in long lines at the local Post Office to pick these up for you guys. I do hope the migratory illegal alien catch-and-release (outside our borders) stamp will be available at the same time, I'm do not want to stand through those lines twice!

Gee,I wonder why the Gov't hasn't let the average citizen see these videotapes,or at least have 60 Minutes (Gack!!!) or some news Channel tell Americans about these Videos.(And I'm supposed to just go about my daily business and not profile, huh?Riiiiiiight!)They do want to kill us and that fact has to to be kept in the forefront of our minds. These videos offer one more solid reason to oppose gun control in the U.S.A.
