The normal English term for "mutation" is "birth defect". Ever notice the women out collecting for the Mothers' March of Dimes? Ever notice that they're always collecting money for research to PREVENT mutations, and not to cause them? Figure there might be a reason for that?

Picture some ten-year-old American kid growing up on a steady diet of public schools and TV, who had never heard of Chuck Darwin or evolutionism. Picture some guy representing Howard Hughs walking up to the kid and saying:

Kid, for a million bucks, I need you to devise an atheistic ideological doctrine to explain the present biosphere without recourse to anything resembling a creative act, engineering, or re-engineering or anything like that at all, and it has to be the stupidest ideological doctrine which has ever been devised. In fact, it has to be stupid enough for people to believe that the clown in the picture here invented it, and it has to be based on stuff which you watch on television on a regular basis.

Here's what I suspect the kid might come up with. We're talking about a new reality TV series which involves five guys with Sten guns, AKs, and M16s, a bunch of criminals from death row who have volunteered for the program, and a bunch of chimpanzees, and the chimpanzees have spent the last three months watching ER, and all other available doctor and medical shows. They line the criminals up against the wall, and the guys with the automatic rifles mow em down. Notice I specified relatively light calibre rifles and not FALs or M14s or anything which guarantees outright kills. The idea is that the chimpanzees now will try to use their newly acquired medical skills to repair the shot-up criminals.

The doctrine says that the vast majority of these shot-up and "repaired" criminals will die off, most of them within an hour or two, but due to the law of averages, a very few will get put together beter than they were before, and the progeny of these few will become EUBERMENSCHEN, and breed together to form ever improved new races of men.

How's that grab you?

For most of time, men and women have assumed that the truth was there to be found out. This began to change in the 19th century and the change gathered pace in the 20th. As people began to question the existence of God, it became obvious to some, that the existence of truth requires the existence of God. With God dismissed, it became impossible to conceive of truth in any absolute sense. This has resulted in the humiliation of truth. Truth is now whatever you would like it to be.

Truth's demise has filtered down through the great centers of learning, the arts, and on into streets and homes. Everything is possible with truth gone. Everything is permissible. Musicians make music that doesn't sound musical. Painters paint pictures that are incomprehensible to normal folk. Playwrights write plays that are nonsense, and architects design buildings that no one can understand. All this is put forward as legitimate, but what does it all mean?

No matter how much... popular culture---is encouraged to believe in the relativity of truth, no one can build a decent life on such a notion.

Inevitably proponents of freedom from God, and from absolute truth, are obliged to reach outside of their own system, and borrow something from theism in order to make their lives work. The person who believes that everything is valid, will soon find that he is condemned to meaninglessness. Christ is a standing offer of escape from such a hell as this To believe that truth is like Christ, is salvation indeed.

Go buy yourself a copy of The Origin of the Species and read it. Rememeber the parts about genera and species.

Then go buy yourself a copy of Peterson's Guide to Eastern Wild Flowers. Then take several Sunday afternoons and go to the woods or fields. Try to identify all the flowers you find. Carefully note the fact there are families. genera and species. As you learn to identify there will be many that are hard because they are not as shown. They are different. They are evolution in action.

All you have to do is learn a little about botany and there will be more evidence than you have time to digest. It's all there now waiting for you to discover.
