God. Family. Country. Indeed. Sometimes they conflict, I'm greatful they haven't for you, Jeff. I've lost everything because my family can't understand standing up for your country....or God with the exception of my son, who is wise beyond his years and always has been. They're too short sighted to see that protecting the two insures the survival of that family. Their motto is , Me, Me and Me. It's a sad thing, my friend.

Thank you for the essay...it's always appreciated.

They have come into conflict for me as well AuntB from time to time. Going to and particpating in Klamath was one of those times when there were both family and job related issues that ended up being painful.

In those cases ... at least in my opinion, you go back to the priority in which they are listed ... God, family, country. In the end, that is what faith is all about.

I have always used that precedent and although there have been times it has been painful, there has never been a time it was wrong.

As we both know, right is not always painless and wrong is not always painful (at least not initially ... ultimately wrong will always bring pain).

Best to you ... in both trial and joy.

A beautiful piece Jeff.

You have prioritized your life perfectly to the only proper yardstick..the Bible.

Thank you for sharing this with us.

You are welcome. I have simply tried to be true to the way my parents raised me, to the love I have for my wife and children and now my grandchild (with number two in the oven), and most of all (and in spite of my own shortcomings) to the path the voice from within (the Holy Spirit) has directed me.

Best Fregards.

You are welcome my friend. Hope things up that way are well for you and yours.

My friend in Emmett who makes the gun show circuit has purchased another 100 books (Volume II) to sell at his tables as he makes his rounds.

He has me signing in Nampa this weekend and Boise next.

Did you get a chance to finish Vol. I? What were your thoughts?

Thanks for the post, Jeff.

Gratitude is a most important attribute. It helps us keep our perspective & not take God's blessings and our forefathers' sacrifices for granted. Lack of it leads individuals and the country to complacency, arrogance, sense of entitlement, laziness, and unwillingness to sacrifice.

Guess you can tell I feel strongly about it! I thank God every time I walk into our well-stocked grocery stores; I am in awe of such plenty as we have here. God is so good.

Stay well -- and best wishes on the continued success of your book!

Hugs to you, AuntB, and continued prayers for your well-being. Thanks for all you have done and suffered in doing what's right. Don't know any better way to say it than that, but there's a lot more words on my mind, especially after experincing Darby. Take care.

All I can add to that is AMEN!

Jeff, thank you for sharing your family and faith...5 children??? What an example your family provides for all the lost and lonely ...too many have no understanding of these blessings, the strength and joy freely available.

God, family and country, ping. (^:

And may He bless you and yours as well ... and continue to stand by and preserve this Republic as long as there are even a small number who look to Him.

May there always be a remnant in this land that it might be preserved as a sanctuary for liberty.

As God states in His Word, our thankfulness is what His will for us. Gratitude is the best attitude by far. God bless you richly.
