Thanks for the thread MB. It is always good to refresh the meaning and origins of holidays...

Not much going on with us today. It is 95 degrees outside where we live. Went to Costco this a.m. thinking it would be crowded but it was not-guess everyone went to the beach or the ballgame or to picnic and party. I was so jazzed at the thin crowd that I scurried on over to the grocery store - same story...No crowds.

I hope you all have a safe and happy holiday weekend. I will check in again later or tomorrow....
