Those are their ceremonial uniforms. They have other equipment they don't bring out every day, including assault rifles. 5.56mm Sig-Sauer, I believe.
Needs to be posted again and again and again!!!!!
Stay safe; stay armed; smoke 'em if you got 'em.
PS: My interpretation was Glock, not Sig.
Yep.
Agree with your affirmative.
Years ago in South Dakota, a psycho was stalking a gal who lived in the house behind me, and then started preying on the other women on the block.
I thought myself not a likely target, due to deliver a child in about 3 weeks.
A more likely target was the single girl and her mother who lived next door.
My husband got a .45 from a friend on base and taught me to field strip it blindfolded so I would be comfortable handling it.
Each night when Kathy next door was due home from work, I stood on my screened entry right across the driveway with the weapon poised for action should he approach.
One night the perp had the husbands' schedules (3-day rotating shifts in SAC) mixed up, and as we were sitting in the living room watching tv, he was heard prying MY bedroom window off!!
My husband and two dogs dashed out, but he was already out of sight.
A policeman with a K-9 stationed in the house one night of the original target were astonished that this guy had slit the screen porch door and slightly opened the kitchen door - without the K-9 alerting!
The police for 6 weeks were stationed a minute away, and never spotted him, getting bolder and bolder, and asked if after the baby was born if I would be a 'decoy' to draw him there to catch.
I agreed, but we had orders to go to Fairbanks, Alaska, and moved.
I assure you that had he entered my home I WOULD have shot him before he reached my two sons (7 & 8) and baby girl or me, making sure he was inside - and very dead.
My interpretation is Thou shalt not MURDER - not kill in self-defense.
After I moved, he tried to get into my friend's house next door, one leg inside the window - Susan's collie hung onto his leg until the police 'saved' him.
Turned out he was an Indian, fleet of foot, practicing 'ancient skills.'
