Reason? A month ago, I would have picked the first few days of March. But with problems with first the UN and now Turkey (requiring alternate deployment locations), I believe it will delay us until near the end of March. I wish it were sooner, though. Waiting too long gives Saddam more time to play his shell game, gives the left more time to split off our allies, gives more time for the anti-war/Bush protestors to cause trouble, and also contributes to lowered morale of our troops who have to maintain a high state of readiness for the attack, and then see opposition rising at home and around the world.
