I'll take January 26 (Super Bowl Sunday), 2003, at 3:33 pm Pacific Standard Time. That will make it 2:32 a.m. on January 27th in Baghdad time.
Can't you see the newscasters talking about it? "... And while the Raiders and the 49ers battle it out on the football field, sources tell Fox News that U.S. ground troops have been flown into Iraq and are dominating towns near and around Baghdad and other key Iraqi cities. We are awaiting comment from the White House. Stay with Fox News for continued coverage on the War on Terror. I'm Laurie Dhue, and those are your headlines. Stay tuned for Fox Report with Shepard Smith."
* Disclaimer: Please don't reply to this post about the newscaster's comments. I don't necessarily believe that the Raiders will be featured in this year's Super Bowl, nor am I necessarily a fan of Laurie Dhue or Shepard Smith. I will admit bias towards Fox News and the Niners.
What is the matter with you people? War is not a betting event! For whatever end or purpose, it is the dealing of death and destruction! And just when I thought I'd seen it all, in terms of moral obtuseness, at FreeRepublic. Many ways exist to relieve the pressure of the burdens of high attention and moral outrage. Many jokes about disasters and tragedies come along to do this. Wakes serve this purpose.
This joking is too much.

Um.... yeah I meant for my first guess to not work out.... because my real guess is the first 3:57AM Baghdad time after Powell's Feb. 5th thing.... I'll try to figure it out and make my guess more detailed... first I have to have dinner. ;)

How about we change my guess to March 9th, 2003 at 3:57 AM Baghdad time? I was thinking about going for the ides of March, but I doubt the Administration will delay that long. War is coming, and it's coming soon.
