Well, we may never know. But the mission of the hijackers was to kill the pilots and take control of the plane. They were driven and obsessed maniacs and were not interested in dialogue. Even with ongoing training, the best pilots still have those moments of hesitation, denial, and shock when an emergency is upon them. There was no script for this scenario, and it never goes as smoothly you might think.

I'm out of research time, but I'm sure you can find something that would be more informative about the timelines of the hijackings, and specifically about the takeover of the cockpits.

As far as the pilots throats being cut instantly as part of the hijacking, I'm not sure I can go with that. I would think there would be some kind of time for pilots to do something.

The attack was well-planned. I would guess that the hijackers planned from the beginning to kill the pilots as quickly as possible.

Your theories have been shown to be rubbish and all you have to say for yourself is that the pilots "would have done something?" We know the passengers DID do something on one of the flights, and that that action probably caused a crash short of the hijackers' target. And, if you have been reading other threads on FR between dodging the HAARP rays that are, no doubt, out to get you, you would know that Al Quaida training is heavy on the shock intimidation tactics. Just about every Al Quaida foot soldier is trained in how to take control over bystanders in a situation and to deal with utter brutality any attempt to resist.

Except for some question of the cause of the crash in PA - whether the hijackers crashed it because they were losing a fight in the cockpit, or whether it was shot down because it was minutes away from D.C. - there is no indication 9/11 was anything other than what it appeared to be. Nothing about 9/11 is inconsistent with Al Quaida's known capabilities and intentions.
