My Bible tells me all I need to know about how we got here, and that's that.

What chapter and verse does this "7000 year" age occur in?

meteorites believed to have originated on the large asteroid Vesta

Those who have a problem with Martian meteorites are going to be skeptically blue with disbelief over Vestal meteorites.

Amazing that they know what went on so long ago, just with a few rocks and chemicals they somehow can reel off 4 billion years. How do they check their work?

This ain't got anything to do with Darwinism. If you and yours choose to ignore science, that's all well and good.

How do they check their work?

That's what peer-review is for.

Creationists have predicted (and this article supports the prediction) that the more complex life is discovered to be, the older the universe, earth and "first appearances" of life will become according to evos.

This comment was directed toward the scientists. They have no clue. Basically taking a shot in the dark.

How do they check their work on earth's early days? It's easy. They ask Strom Thurmond.

To make a statement like that, you must be inimately familiar with this piece of work. What is the flaw you've uncovered?

Thank you so much for the heads up!

I'm hoping the NASA Genesis Project will have more to add in the next few years.

I am a Christian fundamentalist (one who believes the Bible is the inerrant Word of God.) And, due to the workings of space/time and inflation, I am not at all alarmed by these enormous ages.
