I remember getting into a conversation with someone at work about looking for a math tutor for my then teenaged son. My sister-in-law (a teacher) had mentioned she knew someone capable, but he was gay. I said, "No way."

One of my co-workers wanted to know why I was "afraid" of gay people. Not afraid, I just wanted to keep someone like that as far away from my son as possible. I wouldn't have gotten a male tutor for my teenaged daughter, either. Just being careful.

Another point: I've "met" two cross dressers, and they both were accused of child molestation.

Absolutely!! AND ANOTHER THING! Why do I get the idea conservatives are always being attacked for believing the way we do?? The things we believe were valid for hundreds of years, and built the greatest society that has ever existed! And now, the very things that destroyed the Roman Empire threaten to destroy us -- mob rule, acceptance of immorality, you name it.

Exactly. And by referring to us a homophobic, they have displaced a pathology onto us.

I am not afraid of gays ... I am disgusted by them. The lifestyle is generally unsafe, and the mechanics of it are unnatural.

Since then, I have seen millions of men die painfully and needlessly from AIDS. I have seen decent Catholic churches splattered with blood by gay rights activists. I have also seen indecent priests create catastrophe in their wake. I have seen the Boy Scouts viciously maligned and de-funded simply for trying to avoid the same disaster that has swept through the Catholic church.

Homosexuals can have their anal sex in their homes, and that's their right (though they suffer from a severe psychological problem). But when they rape teenage boys in my Catholic Church, and when they spew hateful messages toward the Boy Scouts for believing that it's inappropriate to have homosexual scoutmasters taking teenage boys on overnight camping trips, and when they act out anal intercourse in gay 'pride' parades, and when they insist on teaching y kids about homosexual fetishes in public schools, then I too have become really, really homophobic. I am homophobic, and I'm not afraid to say so. I didn't used to be. But I've come to the conclusion that homosexuals endanger my kids.

My sons will never be allowed to be alone with a Catholic priest. Parents aren't stupid anymore.

Have him send it to the Idaho Statesman. For being a rather bland "USA Today" style news paper, it has a great "Letters to the Editor" section. As far as I can tell, as long as there's no profanity, just about any one's opinion gets a fair airing.

The thing the Gay activists did so effectively, like many forms of left wing tactics was to hijack the English Language.

GAY no longer means "joyful" and "Homophobia", a made up Ad Hominem/definition doesn't even make SENSE.

How true. Put another way, having a 'gay' gene supposedly excuses men for smearing each other with excrement, but having a 'homophobe' gene does not excuse one's disgust with men smearing each other with excrement.
