Karim Koubriti, Ahmed Hannan, Youssef Hmimssa, Farouk Ali-Haimoud and a man only known by the first name Abdella That's just not right!!! There needs to be a Jones or a Wilson in there somewhere ... This smacks of PROFILING!

Didn't Detroit refuse to offer assistance to the Justice Department with regard to tracking down suspicious persons?

My memory is that when the FBI/DOJ wanted to speak with ~5,000 Arab men several months ago, there was little if any local Detroit support for the effort. I remember a local Detroit police spokesman saying his department had built-up a "relationship" with the local Arab population and he thought the FBI interview request would hurt that "relationship".
It was pathetic!

New orders from Osama. To blend in better, change names as follows: Karim Koubriti now Karim Albright, Ahmed Hannan now Ahmed Hanson, Youssef Hmimssa now Youssef Hines, Farouk Ali-Haimoud now Farouk Hammond and a man only known by the first name Abdella now Abdella Smith. That way, they not know we be foreigners, hehehehe.

Thankfully there has been some progress notwithstanding the lack of enthusiasm, at least publicly, by the authorities.

Sounds to me like Ashcroft is getting results.

Which is probably why he is in the cross hairs of the Left/apologists/civil rights activists, et al.

And they are using powerful supercomputers to analyze global trade in gold, diamonds, tanzanite and honey for evidence of terrorist financing scheme. Already three Yemeni honey businesses have been identified by U.S. officials as possible fronts for terrorist money, and several other investigations are under way, officials said.Seems like they are using some powerful analytical tools. I like this alot. They are searching for patterns which will reveal the network.

Federal agents believe they have uncovered a broad effort by American citizens, many of them immigrants, to use credit card thefts, illegal cigarette sales, diverted charitable funds and cash smuggled in airline luggage to enrich anti-American and anti-Israeli terror groups with money that originated in the United States, officials said.As has been pointed out here in FR, there is a broad subculture in the US which has believes that the 9-11 attacks were great. These people either, knew about terrorism but failed to notify or actually provided assistance knowing what the end would be.

They didn't indict Daschle yet? What's the holdup? Maybe conspiring to support terrorism for political game is Ok.
To: Dialup Llama
The channels and grey markets which support illegal immigration, id fraud and credit fraud are the SAME ones used by the terrorists. You cant tell them apart.

When is the FBI going to raid the Quislings at CNN and all the other media-whores for being traitors?
To: Uncle George
Right after they find the moles who protected Moussaui
To: Eric in the Ozarks
Yes, which will no doubt lead to further attacks on him by the leftist America hating media.
To: Oldeconomybuyer
Sure looks like Bush's War on Terrorism is failing, too. < /sarcasm >

I am bookmarking this thread, so that when I hear the mantra that Ashcroft has done nothing, I can provide some evidence.
Isn't it interesting that some "conservatives" who supported Ashcroft as a Senate candidate, that same Ashcroft who was always known to be a constitutional conservative, has suddeny become a villain (according to these same "conservatives")?
I find this most peculiar.

What a nasty graphic! Where did you find that?
To: Miss Marple
Seems I saw it on here once. I think someone at DU made it, not sure.
