A day in the life of President Bush (photos): 8/27/02
yahoo.com, whitehouse.gov

Posted on 08/27/2002 6:21:42 PM PDT by rintense

President Bush met with Saudi Arabian Ambassador Prince Bandar bin Sultan at the Bush Ranch in Crawford, Texas today to discuss the Mideast, including Iraq. Bin Sultan still asserted the official Saudi opposition to any action against Iraq. Bush also pushed the Ambassador to do more for children- American citizens- who are being held in Saudi Arabia because their father's are living there. Bush specifically raised the case of Amjad Radwam, a 19-year-old U.S. citizen who was not allowed to leave Saudi Arabia with her mother, Monica Stowers, in 1985. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

A belated Happy Birthday and Happy Anniversary to you, Ohio.

Nord, I missed the post and pictures about the President's visit to Cal. Can you direct me to the post?

These jokes are so funny - I'm enjoying a rainy (thank goodness) lazy afternoon, reading the Dose !!!

We saw that picture of our W and the Saudi prince on TV yesterday - and my daughter stated in her best Mom mimick voice - PLEASE don't sit on the arm of my chair - !!! I guess the Saudi prince's Mom never nagged her kid LOL

It has been the same here. Since I teach school, and we started back a few weeks ago, I am usually just running in here for a few minutes to see what's up. I actually had some time last night to stay a while. Maybe I'll catch you soon. Tell the old bag I said hello.

Oops...........we have a problem here. Mr. Ohio was born in 1951! Even if it were an arranged marriage, it'd be tough to marry someone who hadn't yet been born! :o)

Oh, but I love that more than anything else in the world. It beats the 7-8-9th graders, any day.
