I have no idea - I am just pointing out that children leave public schools at all times, after 1 day, 2 days, a week, etc. The fact these kids were already in public schools for a wekk means nothing to me - the father could have been planning to take them out the following week. That is my point. Schools do nto prohibit parents from taking their kids out of public school at a "certain time" - he could unenroll them whenever. And, all he would have to do is say: "We're moving; good-bye." That's it.

True...and good points, summer. Guess as the days roll on we'll learn much more about this very sad case.
