When the Minister ended the hour by saying Saddam is basically an innocent as a babe in the woods, that was really a bit too much for me to take. I spent the whole time trying to figure out (a) why anyone still watches Phil, and (b) why anyone follows this minister; and (c) I admit I am still clueless on both counts.

"FARRAKHAN FACE TO FACE"
They're both sitting on theirs.
I honestly feel that it is too late to stop the machine of institutionalized discrimination against white hetero men. I wish all people would be treated equally, in that they would all have EQUALLITY OF OPPORTUNITY NOT FORCED OUTCOME. At what point are the multitude of non-white hetero men interest groups going to say "Ahhh, now we have a level playing field AND they have made up for the wrongs against our people x generations ago so... no more programs of preference that discriminate against white hetero men."
Who's going to be the first to give me the Jerry Springer crap "You don't know me!!!!" and "F-you!! You never had to go through what I had to!!"? Flame me, bring it on.
...more later. I'm just tired of people who spend so much energy on "who owes them what".

Cute huh! Man, her politics are wierd. I guess you would have had to be there.

This wasn't an interview- it was an infomercial.

You forgot the 60 Million black slaves that were thrown into the Atlantic on their way to America hundreds of years before this place became America. They referred to this factoid several times during the "Millions of Idiots for Reparations March" a couple weeks ago.
Now don't forget it this time, OK?
To: jern
I refuse to watch Donahue. I don't wish for anyone to think I'm a viewer of his vitriolic hatred of all America should stand for.

Are those crackpots, or are they barf receptacles?
To: Jack Wilson
And a really bad one at that.

When the Minister ended the hour by saying Saddam is basically an innocent as a babe in the woodsI wasn't watching, but it has to be counter-productive, even to the 'middlers' and left-loonies. Who would be in support of Saddam right now?

I saw them both and quickly switched back to O'Reilly. Eek.

I LOVE these photographs of her. They're so reminiscent of the lighting, posing, and angular rays of light that was used to shoot Atlas Shrugged. It's a puzzle, which came first...I mean, is tough but sexy Patricia Neal doing Ayn Rand, or was it the other way around?

"what happens when anti-matter and anti-matter meet?"
It ceases to matter?

It amazes me that anyone can believe that reparations will 'heal' anything. So, if reparations occur, does that mean that all affirmative action should also end?
There is no way, no how that I will ever pay reparations. My great grandparents came here from Wales and Germany after the civil war. I wonder how the government is going to weed through all the folks who can prove they have no historical link to slavery? And what about those who do but fought for the North? *shakeshead*
Reparations will only further divide this country along racial lines and will not heal anything.
