Given that the illegal invasion in California and much of the country has come from our neighbor to the south, and being the Mexicans are considered "Hispanic", I think that it is only fair to show general graphic displays of the invasion.
For the following pictures, you will need to know what each color represents. Thus,, here is the key.
1990
Beige 0.0%-16.6% Hispanic
Yellow 16.7%-33.2% Hispanic
Green-Yellow- 33.4%-53.0% Hispanic
Olive Green- 53.3%-75.2% Hispanic
Forest Green- 75.5%-100.0% Hispanic
2000
Beige 0.0%-18.5% Hispanic
Yellow 18.6%-36.2% Hispanic
Green-Yellow 36.3%-55.6% Hispanic
Olive Green 55.7%-76.4% Hispanic
Forest Green 76.4%-98.4% Hispanic
Check out the size and scope of the invasion as it has manifested itself over the years in the LA area, and compare each LA area from 1990 to 2000.
LA Central 1990
LA Central 2000
LA East 1990
LA East 2000
LA Southeast 1990
LA Southeast 2000
LA North 1990
LA North 2000
LA West/Far West 1990
LA West/Far West 2000
Given that the numbers are slightly differentiating, the contrast between 1990 and 2000 is somewhat weakened. However, despite the number variation, the contrasts can clearly be seen.
Without a doubt, that would be the best possible, and most economical plan. However, I think we'll all be conversing in Spanish before that happens.
BTW, the part I bolded is the only part of your quote I agree with, because if you think voting in "conservative Republicans" will accomplish this you have blinders on.
For the record, while I don't always get where PRND21 is coming from, we've Freepmailed from time to time, and nothing I received was especially terrifying.
He's not such a bad guy for a Dodger fan, and his position on Illegals is not what a lot of people think it is. He'd like to see them deported.
For some reason he seems a little quick to perceive malignant intentions in others that share that view, and I'm not quite sure why that is. Not a flame, just my observation.
What you call a "personal attack" was a legitimate criticism of another poster for pinging a moderator in response to almost every other reply he recieves on this thread. Is that really the way this forum is supposed to be conducted? I mean, maybe I used a little humor to make the point, but it was by no means a "personal attack" in the "you are a #$%!&" vein.
Why was this sent to me?
Best regards.....
Regards....
I appreciate Miss.....
You bet, and the race baiting tactics go completely unanswered and ignored.
Starting to think BadJoe was right on the money.......
I am sorry, but a lot of the blame is his. He has the power to do something about it. We already have the laws in place to take care of the problem and he refuses to use them. Instead, he is tangling up the various departments that are supposed to do the work. They are fouled up enough as it is. How long do you think it will take for them to 'find themselves' in the new arrangement?
President Bush is the one who invited the President of Mexico here, allowed him to speak to our congress and make demands on this country. He has continued to be overly friendly with the President of Mexico and make no demands on him. He is making the speeches of 'just hard-working people who want to make a living' and is going to give them a down payment for their homes.
Yes, I can blame President Bush for actions he has taken and inactions. He is the President!! He has the laws to do the job!! That is the long and short of it. Yes, he may loose the next election. I don't think so, but he might. But he is sending men around the world and thinking of sending more, some who will loose their lives. I think his political career is small price to pay for the good of this country.
LOL! Considered by who? A public school teacher, from Minnesota, that doesn't believe that millions of illegals have invaded our country and is skeptical about the numbers and believes this is all just blown out of proportion!
After the hundreds of articles that show our hospitals, social services, schools, jails etc etc etc are being choked off?
The only buffoon here is you and your head in the sand, tinkerbell perspective, from your tiny little state of Minnesota.
Hehehe.....Your great Miss/Mr. Fufkins....Keep up your keen observations, as they always contribute humor to the threads.
Same reason why the Republican, and so-called leaders run and hide or just ignore this ever escalating, titanic issue.
They have an agenda, or they are just afraid, little weak people, that continue to put their little elections before country, while searching for irrelevant little meaningless issues..
Just watch these folks on the endless talk shows.....It's mostly meaningless dung...
There were opportunities to recapture that seat when Tom Mcclintock and later Rich Sybert ran. Too bad there weren't more area Republicans willing to put in the time, money and effort to make it happen.
By the way, Arne Fufkin is far removed from the problem, as Minnesota isn't being invaded on the scope and scale of California, the southwest, as well as parts of the south and a few places in the northeast.
