Joe I really hate to burst your bubble but that is very old news. Houston is the petro/chemical capitol of the nation. There are extensive ties with the Middle East and yes we have many Middle Eastern ex-pats here. We have many Middle Eastern engineers here on transfer of technology agreements between oil companies, oil field service companies and engineering/construction companies just as we have many ex-pats in their countries that are part of contractual agreements. So, they are hardly on welfare.
