Given that the illegal invasion in California and much of the country has come from our neighbor to the south, and being the Mexicans are considered "Hispanic", I think that it is only fair to show general graphic displays of the invasion.

Given that the numbers are slightly differentiating, the contrast between 1990 and 2000 is somewhat weakened. However, despite the number variation, the contrasts can clearly be seen.

That's a relief. That one is easily "solved." What fascinates me about California is how rapidly assimilative the people of the planet who move here are. I see it every day in a variety of ways. I know, FR PC says otherwise. IMO FR PC is wrong. My conclusion is that this culture, this economic system, this nation, is a unique gleaming city on a hill, unmatched in human history, and a great and ongoing experiment that has the courage and self confidence to take risk. I truly love this place, and not only because of heritage and birth. It is also my judgment as an intellectual matter.

Your knowledge , of historical facts, about American politics, is woefully small. Only since 1992 , has a third party made a dent ? ARE YOU SERIOUS ?

What you delusionally " see " as self evident and occurring, is just your own hallucination.

Third and mor parties " work " ONLY in parlimentary systems. America doesn't have one. Ergo, what happens in Europe or Israel, can't and won't happen here. The FFs made certain of that. There is , indeed , a form of coalition government, of sorts, in this country. It's called the Dem party.

To compare the political party system of Europe to that of America is entirely false. Most political parties in Europe are weaker, and far more dependent on systems which rely on coalition governments (i.e. proportional representation) which makes viable third parties not only possible, but more powerful.

The American system on the other hand apparently absorbs a variety of elements under either the Democrat or Republican label. You have 3rd parties which make an impact from time to time; for example in the election of 1912, Theodore Roosevelt's Bull Moose Party did rather well, but your history suggests this usually a temporary phenomenon rather than a permanent change.

Thanks for backing my up, though. The poster, obviously hasn't even a tenuous grasp of American history, let alone world politics. Besides the " Bull Moose " party, there were the " KNOW NOTHINGS " of the mid/ late 19th century, and so many others here, which bloomed and faded quickly. The only long lived one, is the American Communist Party. Perchance, he yearns for a similar one to develope ( but, of course a Conservative one. LOL ) and be as " effective " . ROTFLOL

Well the Communists never got as far as the Bull Moose or Perotistas did in gathering votes. Usually what occurs is that there is a protest movement gathered around some charismatic (in T.R.'s case) or loud (in Perot's case) leader and once he fails, the movement fails to have sufficient momentum to carry on.

It is possible for one of the major parties to be replaced - the Republicans replaced the Whig party - but not really possible for it to be supplemented.
