The Invasion of Los Angeles
U.S. Census Bureau ^ | 08/24/02 | FreedomFriend

Posted on 08/24/2002 2:37:20 AM PDT by FreedomFriend

Given that the illegal invasion in California and much of the country has come from our neighbor to the south, and being the Mexicans are considered "Hispanic", I think that it is only fair to show general graphic displays of the invasion.

For the following pictures, you will need to know what each color represents. Thus,, here is the key.

1990
Beige 0.0%-16.6% Hispanic
Yellow 16.7%-33.2% Hispanic
Green-Yellow- 33.4%-53.0% Hispanic
Olive Green- 53.3%-75.2% Hispanic
Forest Green- 75.5%-100.0% Hispanic

2000
Beige 0.0%-18.5% Hispanic
Yellow 18.6%-36.2% Hispanic
Green-Yellow 36.3%-55.6% Hispanic
Olive Green 55.7%-76.4% Hispanic
Forest Green 76.4%-98.4% Hispanic

Check out the size and scope of the invasion as it has manifested itself over the years in the LA area, and compare each LA area from 1990 to 2000.

LA Central 1990

LA Central 2000

LA East 1990

LA East 2000

LA Southeast 1990

LA Southeast 2000

LA North 1990

LA North 2000

LA West/Far West 1990

LA West/Far West 2000

Given that the numbers are slightly differentiating, the contrast between 1990 and 2000 is somewhat weakened. However, despite the number variation, the contrasts can clearly be seen.

Yeah, I've only been social friends with guys from San Salvador, Honduras and Colombia. We're a ways from Mexico, so that immigration has occured in the last 10 years, and I try to avoid nightclub brawls in my wiser old age. But, for some reason in the early 80s, Minnesota was a place where the combatantas in those civil wars in El Salvador, Honduras and Nicaragua came to cool their heels and hide out when they'd done something really really naughty. All rich kids, tough as NAILS. My amigo Juan saw his 18 year old cousin take a head shot from a Rebel sniper while sitting in the front seat of his car right next to him. Juan and his friends' violent retribution led them to MN. I never asked. Yikes. This was in Minneapolis in the early/mid 80s, but my brother lives in Newport Beach now, and his two best pals are Mexican and Guatamalans and they are the same way about black guys. I have a longstanding and very friendly business relationship with a couple of guys from Queens who are from Puerto Rico and the DR, and they don't even pretend to hide their dislike for Black folk. It's uncomfortable for me, cause I can't see what they see but the thing is real. So, I'm not really that connected to the vibe, but I hope it's smoothed out to nothingness, because THAT ... we do not need. I probably shouldn't have brought it up, in retrospect. But, it's been by observation.

Hello sir! Not much, it's ths same old song and dance.

People cite census projection and anecdotal observations predicting an immigrant horde of illegals from Mexico displacing them and overwhelming their culture.

Another round of defining an imminent immigration peril, with no solutions or proactive approaches offered. Bidness as usual? Joe Hadenuf had a meltdown, that was fun.

Thanks MM. Hope all is well for you!

I was bummed to see MsLady's prayer request yesterday. I've always really liked her, and I really hope for the best for her.

I bet you'd be really " brilliant ", if you only had more than three working brain cells.

Okay, so " SULLIVAN'S TRAVELS " was someone else's. I goofed. At least I can and do admit when I'm wrong. But, Capra didn't write " MR SMITH GOES TO WASHINGTON " , his dear friend, Buchanan, a card carrying, rabid COMMUNIST did. Capra was known as a bleeding heart, in Hollywood , and he associated with Commies and Socialists . No, at that time, most, out there, were NOT that. Oh and BTW, HUAC scared him blue, and so, he stayed away from his Commie pals, wouldn't even work on their stuff, and sort of worked, beghind the scenes, to nail them; to save his own hide.

Capra, the man, was complex . He had a " love / hate " relationship with his adopted country and talked out of both sides of his mouth about the USA.

Hollywood could use a lot of things today; not the least of which , is talent. The Hays Office was good and bad.

Your abject lack of any knowledge is only exceeded by your arrested developement .

Your crusade runs counter to the owner of the forum, FYI. Jim has said if anyone is bothered by illegal immigration then vote out Democrats. Are you willing to help? Or do you just like to gripe?

That a very odd statement. As the owner of this forum told me himself that "immigration is no big concern of his", yet on the other hand he states if we don't like it to vote out the democrates.

Please read the following exchange and my questions to Jim and his answers regarding the Republicans. This is an eye opener to all those concerned with this crisis...

According to Joe Hadenuf: Official Free Republic Position Parallels GOP On Immigration. No Big Deal 6/23/02 | Joe Hadenuf

Posted on 06/23/2002 12:52 PM Pacific by Joe Hadenuf

Last night during a conversation/debate between myself and the leader/owner of the Free Republic, Jim Robinson, a rather stunning revelation was brought forth. I asked Mr. Robinson, which Republicans were vocally backing, and supporting Tancredo in his fight for our sovereignty? After some delay, Jim answered, “I have no idea. Immigration is not a big concern of mine.”

This is from the man that runs the most well known, and respected, political conservative internet forum in the United States? And Mr. Robinson resides in California?

Below is the exchange from the thread: "Conservatives, Cut Bush Slack The Chicago Sun-Times | June 22, 2002 | Thomas Roeser"

To: Jim Robinson

Joe Hadenuf #939: Oh, so the Republicans are fighting for our sovereignty? Besides Tancredo, which Republicans are these Jim? If you could be specific.

Jim Robinson #1034: Which ones are not ?

Joe#1056: You never answered my question Jim.

Since you failed to answer my question, I will go first.

Given thirty years of this open border, immigration "free for all" that has resulted in many millions entering our nation illegally, I believe there are very few Republicans, or anyone else in DC, besides Tancredo, that are visibly and vocally fighting for our national sovereignty.

Now would you care to tell me which Republicans are standing with Tancredo and voicing outrage against this titanic, never ending invasion of illegal aliens?

He not only made it clear that immigration is no big concern of his, he also could not even give me any republican names that are attempting to stop this flood of millions. You don't need to be a senior investigator to realize that there is something very wrong with this picture.

First he says if we are "bothered" by this we should vote the Democrats out, yet he failed to answer the question as to which Repubicans are or would support us.

Yes, and for you and several others, here, it's all about R-A-C-E ; nothing else. You ( plural ) make that patently obvious.

Nice attempt at distraction but it's all about

I-L-L-E-G-A-L- A-L-I-E-N-S; nothing else..

Bump for the truth....

Anyone preoccupied with calling others racist because they don't like their views are racists themselves. Seems that some of them are the sad result of today's public school system where kids are taught that the ethnic Europeans that settled and built this country into the greatest nation on earth are to be despised.

Blues it is no mere coincidence that most of the griping about illegal immigrants comes from California, the welfare Mecca of the nation.

Middle Easterners Streaming Into Texas: Study Say Most Live In Houston

Study says most live in Houston By EDWARD HEGSTROM Copyright 2002 Houston Chronicle

Texas has one of the nation's fastest-growing Middle Eastern populations, and most of the state's immigrants live in Houston, according to a study based on census data. Researchers at the Center for Immigration Studies say Texas' Middle Eastern population more than doubled in the last decade, to just over 100,000, including more than 52,000 in Greater Houston.

No it isn't; especially not, when some of the posteres don't care about ILLEGAL aliens, if they come from Ireland or Europe. When they don't care that some of these ILLEGALS send American dollars and / or actual arms to terrorists, who also send that stuff to OTHER terrorist groups.

I've subbed in the elementary schools within the past couple of years You are a teacher?

A public school teacher from Minnesota? Uh, given 2 chances I could have guessed that. Hehehe...Another public school teacher, "immigration expert" from Minnesota!

My fist guess would have been a chair person on the local homeowners association...

You got to love this stuff....
