No, you can't accept the fact that this crap posing as an "immigration issue" is called exactly what it is. Do you think it is not transparent? Hell it yells at you. I was just thinking about something you might call the not-necessarily-bleeding obvious (to enough people, anyway, though I suspicion you have sensed it already): that the easiest way to correct the question of illegal immigration (from anywhere, I might add) would be to - what a concept! - get to work dismantling the Welfare State, then sit back and watch how many apply to come here the proper way, and with the minimally proper concurrence to what we used to call our way of living in all its legitimate diversity (in the proper sense of that badly abused word)...and how many of those doing it the illegal way do their (literal and figurative) U-turns.

Same here. My ancestors arrived in the 1700s. You'll find fewer numbers of southerners having traced lineage back to the early 1900s. The so-called, "Great Wave" (Nothing compared to today).
