A soldier stopped to thank us for our supporting them the way we do. The soldier is from the Aviation Brigade, 40th Infantry Division.

This stuff makes me want to cry. Next time a soldier stops by, please tell them there's a whole bunch of other people who can't be there in person, who want them to know how much they are appreciated.

The girl brought tears to my eyes believe me! She told us they had seen us out here several times and wanted to thank us for what we are doing and how much they appreciate it.
It is we who are grateful to her and all of those who lay their lives on the line for us, and it was great to be able to tell her so.
She will never know how much her taking the time to thank us and posing for a picture meant to us. Makes it all worthwhile.
