I am not suggesting anything; my opinion is that the bastards who think they run this country (I include both major parties) believe they have a lock on power because they can steal 50% of the GDP without so much as a wimper from those who earn it. They use these ill-gotten gains to buy themselves into a perpetual "public" office where they can practise influence peddling to make themselves very rich. If that isn't bad enough, they are so arrogant that every year they put into law more and more egregiously unconstitutional statutes that they know the bought-and-paid-for-courts will uphold.
At this point, the taxpayer is now in the minority and those who are on the take from the public trough full of tax dollars know they can keep the gravy train rolling - until either one of two things happens - a major economic meltdown or some sort of national catastrophe, like a war on our own soil, either initiated from without or within. Will it happen? I don't know, do you?
