We as a nation have been blessed as you call it by the actions of those who have gone before us. The United States is what it is because of the sacrifices of some pretty brave and dedicated people who had a vision and willingly gave their lives and fortunes to make sure that vision did not fade for posterity. We have no leaders today, in my opinion. who can fill the shoes of their predecessers. We have a lot of empty suits and nothing more.

Adults, on the other hand, lead themselves whenever new leadership is required.
