I support partial amnesty, and am open to arguments for full amnesty, but only if tied to MEANINGFUL reforms.(Among others, that would include increased legal immigration but better vetting procedures, increased fines for those employing illegal aliens, no special passes for "persecuted" homosexuals, and deployment of the military to enforce our borders.)

And before the knee-jerks flame me as a communist liberal(not talking about you Saber, I can respect that you disagree with me on immigration issues), I also support RKBA, outlawing abortion, tax cuts, eliminating income tax withholding, a stronger military, the death penalty, reduced govt spending, eliminating programs, line-item vetos, require Congress to adhere to the same regulations they subjugate us to, downsizing and eventual elimination of the DOEducation, major revisions to civil service legislation, privatization of airport screeners, repealing motor voter, and tort reform.

But I guess I'm a RINO to some here.

Letting everybody in allows for terrorist, drugdealers, and welfare deadbeats to destroy this country. Kicking everybody out can harm those who may be able to benefit this country. Both extremes are wrong. Here's my idea. I think it agrees with yours.

For a few. Those with family, no crime, working, etc. They would have to go before a judge or jury and explain their case. They would still have to pay back whatever welfare/schooling/education/etc. they had recieved in the form of fines and could not become citizens until doing so. In a since, they would be on parol. And just like parol, if they skipped town, committed crime, etc. they pay. Instead of jail, they go south. Any stuff they have here is auctioned off by the government or given to charities. Of course we need the military to stop the further illegal immigration and the native countries can pay for some of the expenses. Legal immigrants wouldn't have to argue their case or pay fines, so it's still better to come here legally.

It's the best idea I can come up with.
