Make that two of us at the very least. Illegals are illegals and deserve and should get immediate deportation.
Today the press was lamenting to dearth of jobs for young people. Does anyone wonder why? Yesterday on a local talk show, a guy from a Las Vegas casino/hotel said that they happily hire illegals to do all the heavy work for which American kids won't even apply. Oh oh, he also said they pay the illegals a lot less. It's a new generation of indentured servants.

I agree with you, no blanket amnesties. First, to get security correct, no more new visa to admit more LEGAL immigration.
Deport all illegals, and offspring regardless of place of birth. Detain and interrogate any middle easterners, those found to have ties to terrorism, gleen as much info as possible, execute, send remains with slaughtered pig to Arrafat or Saddam.
All illegals should be deported ASAP.

No amnesty ever. And anyone who is here illegally should never be allowed in the country again. (That just might give illegals some incentive to get home before they're deported.)

NO AMNESTY FOR ANY ILLEGAL! I am a first generation American (no hypenation) and I strongly believe that EVERY immigrant enter our country legally and within an agreed upon quota!

I'm against it. Unfortunately, Jorge W. Welfare is for it.

Amnesty gives legal status and residency, which then eliminates their ability to work those low paying, hard-work jobs Americans won't do because they now must be paid minimum wage even though legalization doesn't give them English ability or job skills so very many end up on some kind of welfare program and their previous employers must find a new batch of illegals who can work for low wages.
Amnesty to people who committed felony fraud to obtain high paying jobs that Americans will work rewards criminals who committed document fraud as well as illegal entry into the US.
Amnesty rewards law-breakers and puts them in line ahead of those who follow our laws and that is unfair. Legal immigrants must find sponsors ----but that program is quite a joke because the sponsors never actually take financial responsibility for their immigrant.
The sponsorship program should be changed so that the sponsor actually takes financial responsibility for a legal immigrant for twenty years ---paying their health care costs and housing, food etc if the immigrant can't work or make enough money.
If the sponsor program was actually where an American citizen agreed to provide the living costs of an immigrant then it wouldn't matter too much if illegals could get a sponsor and then stay.

No amnesty for illegals. All illegals should be deported and refused anyu opportunity to reapply for immigration. I don't care if they're W's brush beaters for quail hunts.

No amnesty for illegals
No 245(i)
No drivers licenses for illegals
No in-state tuitions for illegals
No social services for illegals
- Increased border patrol, including use of the military at the borders until the border patrol and INS can handle the situation.
- Coordinated efforts between local law enforcement as well as other government agencies and the INS to report & deport illegals as they come in contact with them in the line of duty.
- Severe penalties for and prosecution of employers of illegals.
- A moratorium on immigration until the INS can get a system in place to track all visa holders.
- Controlled immigration upon resumption after tracking system in place.

Should all or some portion of the Illegal Aliens be granted an Amnesty and be thereby allowed to change their status and acquire legal residence in the United States? They should all be deported immediately. Why do they think they are above our laws?
To: Sabertooth
NO AMNESTY, PERIOD Illegal activity should not be honored/rewarded.
To: Sabertooth
I am not sure of the purpose of this "poll". You will not find 5 people on this forum that has expressed support for a blanket amnesty. What is your point?
To: Sabertooth
I say NO in capital letters, but we're preaching to the choir here, folks. The ones who need to hear just aren't listening.

No amnesty for illegals ever. We reward people in this country, way too much for breaking the law....

This is a vanity reply, let's get that straight from the start.
I oppose all Amnesties for Illegals Aliens, in any form.
Does That go for your Capitalization skills as Well?
Also, your question is push pollish (Polish?) because of the "...some portion...".

Some illegals can be worked with to make them legal, but their home countries need to pick up the tab and the illegals themselves need to pay fines.
Companies that exploit illegals need to be punished heavily. Stiff fines for the offense and per illegal, shutdowns, and prison time for those involved.
Other illegals and anybody who supports the Azland agenda need to be deported direcly to a jail in their country.
And put the army on both borders.
