The absolute worst situation I have heard about is where a man is shown through DNA to NOT be the father but because a court order was handed down the man has to keep paying child support - for kids that are not his.

They are considering changing this situation. Only considering it mind you, and on a very limited basis.

Stick around. You'll see "conservatives" argue that the above is "better than having society pay the costs."

This is a great success for the far left. Facts, logic, and individual rights no longer matter. You can see it in the responses given in article on this particular problem. Those defending the system don't see the problem as a scandal. They don't respond by promising to fix the problem. They treat it as a debatable political issue and take the position that what they're doing is right, based on whatever excuse they can think of. But in fact, this sort of thing is not debatable in the US system, as defined. The individual's right is being violated, and it's certain that it is illegal for the government to conspire to violate individual rights. They do not have legal authority to implemenet policies that violate individual rights, no matter what good they might claim there is in it.
