Contrast with the Judeo-Christian Lord, the Spirit of whom brings, "love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, gentleness, goodness, and self control. Against such their is no law." If you please. I keep harping on it, but for some reason people don't get it. "Allah" is simply the Arabic word for God, not a name. Arabic speaking Christians called God "Allah" for centuries before Muhammad.
This is not to say that Muslims are really worshipping God. Just as the English word "god" could mean some demon that people worship or whatever.

This is not to say that Muslims are really worshipping GodThanks for adding this. That was my point. I understand that semantically the words Allah and God are synonymous, but I think in discussing the differences between the religions it muddies the water to think of them as "the same God". For most assuredly, we do NOT worship the same God....

I guess Ganeesh is just the Hindi word for God too right? And Zeus is the Greek word for God.
