Is this Barry Scheck you are refering to? All this bug stuff was interesting but if you got all these so called experts that get up there and have different opinions on it talking about "unknown variables" that could "skew" things well...DNA, fingerprints, fibers all trump bug stuff.

A couple of questions I'd love to know answers to:

1. Is this the FIRST death penalty case that Feldman has lost? If so, it must be a blow.

2. Any thoughts on whether the daughter decides to be a witness for life in prison for her father. Her silence has been extraordinary.

How so? You might be surprised if you were to study the subject. Lawyers know how to make everyhing seem fuzzy. If you are judging forensic entomology by what you saw going on in court in this one case, you are making a mistake. The entomologist from Hawaii was stretching things, big time, and ended up looking quite awkward and probably hurting himself professionally.
