I appreciate very much that there are folks like you who will brave to kick against the orthodoxy forced on the black community by the liberal old guard, but when 90% of the black vote goes to Bill Clinton, I do not thing the corner has been turned.

I think that the Bush philosophy is to basically proclaim a truce with the black community, and to openly and avidly court the Latino community which will outnumber blacks in the very near future.

If the GOP can at least get the Latino community to split 50/50, that will represent a great future for the GOP.

Great news, although I dont think its just Black issue; Americans are becoming more conservative regardless of race. The funny thing is, the Klintons, Leahys, Daschles,etc just dont get it.

She was a lightweight clown within the liberal community and an embarassment to all but her little district 4 niche, which in the end, she even managed to alienate....
