You are probably right. *SIGH* I wonder how these folks would feel if an attacked happened in their home town. Pretty different, I'd imagine.

Where does anyone get the idea that violence never solves anything? It turns out that it solves a very great deal. In fact, I can count on the fingers of one hand the number of disagreements of the sort we have with the radical Muslims that violence did NOT solve. In fact, I'd have fingers left over...

Israel has proved beyond the shadow of any doubt that fighting violence with violence fails to accomplish any goal with the exception of ...

...eliminating forever those who are trying to kill us.

If we want to stop terrorism, we must seek true justice in the world. Not so much in the bringing of criminals into courts but in seeing to it that we more generously and freely share our nation’s wealth with nations in dire need.

What a stupid idiot. He confuses justice with the central tenet of socialism everywhere, wealth redistribution directed by a central authority. That isn't justice, its tyranny.

We need to participate fully in global efforts, in spite of their shortcomings, to clean up the world environment that we have done more to pollute than any other nation.

And how is that going to stop insane Islamic fanatics from flying airliners into buildings? I don't see a causal link. Those barbarians who did their bloody butchering on 9-11 didn't give a crap about the whales, the rain forests, or global warming. All they wanted to do was kill Americans, the "infidels".

We need to show we are willing to be held accountable like we would hold others accountable by full and equal participation in the world court and the United Nations.

No thanks. I'll put a little more stock in the World Court and the UN when they start bringing in and turning over to us people who helped those bastards on 9-11 kill innocent people. That's what "we" need to show the world more than anything.

If we took these actions, it would serve as a cool rain on the forest fire of terrorism.

Nah, it would just result in thousands, perhaps tens of thousands, more dead in this country and around the world at the hands of the barbarians. Kind of like thowing gasoline on the forst fire of terrorism.

My brother helps fight forest fires out west and he tells me the most effective tools for containing a bad fire are the sweat and toil of people using shovels and bulldozers. Same thing with the barbarians. Dig them out, kill them, and bury them.

Randal Fletcher - who is this guy? Noam Chomsky's separated-at-birth twin? Or maybe Howard Zinn's.

Violence will not end terrorism, How come the terrorists use violence then...they must figure it will accomplish something... It does causes the faint hearted to surrender and call for help...but then the faint hearted want to hamstring those who come to help...the fainthearted actually want to deliver their rescuers to the terrorists...trying to make a deal with the terrorists....sick f*#kers that they both are.. terrorists and their fainthearted shills... collaborate...

This is the sort of thing that I'd expect out of Columbia, MO...

The use of Israel as an object lesson is absolutely correct. It shows what happens when force and violence is applied, but in a limited fasion. The simple fact is that for a war to be won, it MUST be fought to the end, where there is a clear victor, and more importantly, an obvious loser. In every war fought by Israel, the world, i.e. he UN stood by, waiting for Israel to be pushed into the sea. Only when the tides of war turned with Israel about to completely destroy their attackers did the world, (again, the UN) step in and stop Israel from completely vanquishing their enemies.

It seems that nobody remembers the simple fact that we won WW-II, not by signing a treaty, but by completely destroying the ability of the axis powers to make war.

I am deeply concerned about your desire to attack Iraq and your tendency to use violence to fight terrorism.

Oh. OK. We'll stop then.

"...completely destroying the ability of the axis powers to make war..."

Lesseee...help me out here. According to Randal, Japan became a peaceful society renouncing the Bushido militarists because of the Roosevelt Peace Corps operations in the Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere in the 1930's. Hitler abandoned all claims to the Sudetenland, the Austrian Anschluss and settled down to the quiet life of a third rate artist because of FDR's transfer of billions of dollars to the Reich. Mao's Communist Revolution and Cultural Revolution died aborning with the rise of the CEP (Chinese Environmental Party) which created a Green Paradise on the Chinese Mainland. Right?

Uhhh...never mind.

Check your dictionary.

mo-ron (môr´on, n 1. a stupid person. 2. (in a former classification of mental redartation) a person having an intelligence of 50 to 69.

ma-roon¹ (mә rõõn′), n. a dark brownish red.

maroon also means to put ashore and abondon on a desolate island.

Now I suggest you come out of the closet.
BTW my native language is not English. What you got to say to that?
