Really folks, I have to ask this. I see what looks like an awful lot of animosity toward homosexuals here on FR. Shouldn't God be the one to judge these individuals? (Yes I'm fully prepared, so flame on if you feel you have to)

Yes He should but does that mean that we just smile at them and let them put their carnality on us? Same as someone telling me not to put my morality on them? FWIW, I am a "love the sinner and hate the sin" Christian because that is what Christ teaches his followers.....

Why let only God judge? We all feel so much more superior for it. You know, because we're "normal". Nope, nothing wrong with us. No sin and casting stones that's what we do . . .

well, yes and no....there are a lot of hate mongers here masquerading as good conservatives.....you name it, they are against it....The Catholic church, gays, any limits on porn, republicans, democrats, etc.....don't feel like you are the only one put upon...lol

but seriously, I think most here feel the way I do....that ones' sexuality is private as long as you keep it private....

No reason this can't be simple, if you're really wanting to know.

1. He did, out loud and in public. "Do you not know that the unjust will not inherit God's kingdom? Do not be deceived: no ...homosexuals ...will inherit God's kingdom" (1 Corinthians 6:9, 10)
2. That fact obligates believers to repeat what He has said, as a warning, if we've any love or concern in our hearts. "...because you did not give him warning, he shall die in his sin...; but his blood I will require at your hand" (Ezekiel 3:20)

Well I used to think like you Severa UNTIL the homosexual ranks decided it was thier business to impose thier lifestyle on my children. Now, if they would like to actually keep thier sex lives PRIVATE, than I'm sure that will go a long way towards them being judged by God only. Debating adult to adult is one thing, attempting to influence another person's children under the cover of school where attendence is mandatory is well grounds for a fight and resentment towards that group. Just remember that when you think about the "poor, innocent, oppressed" gay activist.

Well, I have no problem showing love to homosexuals, but I do not think that they should be allowed everything that they demand... that's the difference.

Would have replied a bit ago, but I alas I was trying to sleep. So now that I am up....It is not animosity towards gays, fellow freeper and best friend for over 20 years is gay and I regulary spend time at his house and traveling with him - it is animosity towards an agenda people have.

It is being told if I am not a certain way and don't do certain things I 'Hate' or am a homophobe.

Which begs the questions: Will the NAACP ever Elect a White NAACP President? Will NOW ever have a male president, will the gay/Lesbian groups ever be headed by a conservative straight christian? The answers are all no - why?

Sorry if I am babbling, I am going back to bed. I hate when the phone rings when I am sleeping.
