Perhaps y'all can use your skills gained in junior's campaign to get out the truth to the local voters and get crossovers enthusiastic. wouldn't take too many...
Hurray! More RAT campaign funds to be wasted!
Does crossover voting apply to primary runoffs as well in GA? Can GOP voters go out and vote against ol' "Kill the Jews" McKinney?
If someone files a criminal complaint, she'll at least have to waste time and money contesting the charge, and will be embarrassed yet again in the local media. The complaint would have to be filed by someone in the 4th District though, because the plaintiff's rights have to be personally affected by the illegal action.
Not from Georgia, but I would think that if someone voted in the GOP primary they couldn't vote in the Dem runoff. Most if not all of Daddy McKinney's district was not in Cynthia McKinney's district, where most GOP voters crossed over. But that would just be logical, so who knows what the law is?!
I have to congratulate all FReepers. McKinney's loss is regardless of surrounding circumstances, a tremendous victory for the United States. She is a wicked, bitter little Woman whose presence in our nations capital served only to soil our legislature and demean our identity. She is a crooked, incompetent Woman who lacks restraint and self respect. I am extremely happy to see her snuffed out politically.
When individuals like Ms. McKinney are removed from power......we all win.
I grew up at 102 Hamilton Street, on the south end on the ocean, in a big old white beach house. My wife & I are members of St. Andrew's Episcopal, in Darien ( small world, eh? ), even though we live in Brunswick.
Right now I'm trying to get up to speed on current events, with my dog-girl Taffy snoozing at my side... she like to get up really early to check the yard for ( oh, joy! ) rats... the South End where we live has lots of old buildings, and we are about a block from the river & port, so we get the varmints at times. Unfortunately, she regards them as an exciting big game animal and not some pest...
...and I am so happy the Master Rat McKinney has gone down in flames!
CBS Atlanta News "exclusive": McKinney campaigners were promised money by 7PM tonight, and they weren't.
From this morning's AJC round up of the McKinney-Majette race...(I'll post the full story as a separate thread)
McKinney supporters gathered to await the finish in the heat of an outdoor tent across the street from South DeKalb Mall. A three-person band from Washington entertained, but the order was disturbed somewhat when a crew of about 200 homeless workers hired for the day thought they might be turned away without their pay. One of them, a middle-aged man named Adrian Jones, said he spent the day waving a sign, chanting and handing out leaflets to voters. "We were just campaigning. I'm not sure what the pay was. We were told $70 to $100. I did my part of the bargain. I want my money." They were quickly shunted to the side by campaign workers and reassured that their money would soon be there.
LOL!!! The dude (McKinney) once pulled a knife on a fellow legislator ON THE FLOOR OF THE HOUSE and received not a slap on the wrist. He certainly won't be censured for a few measly words.
There's a whole string of rants about how St. Cynthia was cut down for daring to expose the eeeeevil Republican war conspiracy, and a few real forgot-their-meds cases complaining about racists and Joooos.
I do hope they don't let that one spokesman blame it on the J-E-W-S again. How pathetic.
She'd better hope that none of the people she didn't pay know about any vote fraud plans....
